This passage is not the same as saying
"We all got to go someday". The "You" who dies is always
one single solitary individual. Not hiding from ourselves and our unique
irreplaceable history and our inevitable death, ought to be reflected on
and prayed about at the start of Lent. Fr. John Gillespie will begin this
program at 10:00 am and conclude with distribution of ashes at
3:00pm. $25 includes lunch.

February 29- March 3: Art as a Lenten
Journey This retreat
experience will open many to the boundless love Jesus has for us, and how we
can share that love and healing with each other in true joy of Easter. This
weekend integrates creativity and spirituality as a path to a deeper
appreciation of God’s love for each of us. Arts and crafts expression,
community building and times for silence and relaxation all blend to engage in
prayerful reflection within the context of the Lenten journey. Come alone,
bring a friend or the entire family for this imaginative experience No artistic
skill required – just a desire to connect with a loving God. Fr.
Rich Kuhn, SM will be available for spiritual direction and
Reconciliation. $70 ages 2-7; $100 ages 8+.Family max is $490.

The Seven Last Words -
Preparing For The Passion "Into your hands I commend my spirit"

When do we give up on God? Isn't it
almost always in the face of pain and suffering...when we are being crucified
by others? The crucified Jesus did not give up on God, and his last words on
the cross show us how to be like him. Come prepare for Palm Sunday of the
Lord's Passion and Holy Week by reflecting on Jesus seven words from
the cross. Fr. John Gillespie will begin this presentation at 9:00am and
conclude at 2:00pm. $25 includes lunch.
About
our Day Retreats:
* Video lectures series from the renowned Teaching Company, will be viewed followed
by a facilitated round-table discussion.
Some of our day retreats are a part of a
series however they are self-contained and it is not necessary to attend the
separate days to benefit from the content. We invite people coming for a
mid-week retreat or video lectures to arrive a day early to be well rested.
Private rooms with private bath are available for $35 per person.

personal renewal at CFL weekdays from September to June. Please call for
availability. Rates per person, per night are $35. Meals are not
included but you are welcome to use our kitchen.
